I've really been neglecting DA lately. I don't know if that will change anytime soon though – there aren't enough hours in a day at the moment x_x

This image was done for a calendar project on the AO forum [link] The final version (which includes dates) can be seen here: [link]

All photoshop. Around 3.5 hours for the background, 6 for the foreground (the boat killed me, it really did :D).

The colours and textures in this is amazing. The height effect is done in stunning perfection, you can visulize clearly how high those cliffs must be compared to the small person in the boat. Its very greek mythology. I love it.

Amazing! The textures in the mountains are wonderful! You give a nice sense of space with the shading as well. Keep it up!

gorgeous as always... what do you expect of a rel rel work? ^_^ The water is awesome but it does look like it's just going from side to side.... not actually traversing the cliffs. phenominal on all other accounts though, and trust me the time spent on the boat was well worth it.... awesome

Gah, I've been ignoring DA too, a bit (too much World of Warcraft for meeee). But omg, those cliff faces are gorgeous. I feel like I'm looking at very sexy, professional concept art (especially with the background). I love the balance of those colors. And the glowing seagulls, omg!
